The Detroit Auto Dealers Association has launched the charitable season for the 2027 Detroit Auto Show.
Organizers hosted an exclusive evening at Cauley Ferrari in West Bloomfield, Michigan, to mark the beginning of the campaign. The event featured luxury vehicles and fall fashion while formally opening ticket sales for the January showcase.
Lincoln Phillip, chairman of the 2027 Detroit Auto Show, described the gathering as the ignition point for the upcoming fundraising push. He noted that the association has raised $125 million for good causes across the city over the past 120 years of celebrating automotive heritage.
Those funds have supported various local programs, including initiatives for children at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. The hospital has used donations to provide art therapy, music therapy, and yoga classes for young patients.
Jay Feldman, chairman and CEO of the Feldman Automotive Group, stated that the charitable mission drives the local dealer community's involvement. He said that raising money for people, especially children, makes the effort meaningful for the group.
Cauley Ferrari is hosting the kickoff event for the second consecutive year. The dealership serves as the venue for the association's annual start to the charity season, linking the brand's presence to the show's long-standing history of giving back.
Tickets for the 2027 Detroit Auto Show and the accompanying Charity Preview are on sale now. Ed Jolliff, vice president of the 2027 Detroit Auto Show, invited attendees to the January event, saying they should check out the new additions planned for this year's lineup.
