A free admission fee does not guarantee a permanent ink appointment at the Nov. 22 event.

The Mütter Museum in Philadelphia will host its first Tattoo Flash Day on Sunday, Nov. 22. The museum is partnering with Frequency Tattoo to offer designs based on its historical medical library and collection items. Participants can get permanent ink or temporary tattoos during the event.
The museum is known for its unusual medical collections. This event turns that inspiration into body art. Frequency Tattoo will provide the flash designs. Educators will also speak about the history of tattooing and its links to medicine.
Permanent tattoo slots are limited. They are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A ticket to the event does not guarantee a spot for a permanent tattoo. Attendees who want to see the museum's galleries need a separate admission ticket.
Tickets cost $15. They are available on the museum's registration page. The event runs from noon to 6 p.m. at 19 S. 22nd St., Philadelphia, PA 19103. Temporary tattoos will be available to all attendees.
The Mütter Museum will hold this event for the first time on Nov. 22. It is a one-day event. The museum and Frequency Tattoo are the only partners involved. The museum's registration page lists the ticket price and details.
