A holiday pop-up market in Portland is drawing more than 100 BIPOC vendors to its aisles this week. The event serves as the seasonal finale for the popular series, offering shoppers a direct line to local creators.

Admission to the market is free. Organizers have filled the space with a wide array of goods, ranging from personal care items to home decor and art.

Clothing and accessories make up a large portion of the inventory. Vendors include Barnes & Morgan, Stackin’ Kickz, Do Better Press, and Casual Day. These shops bring ready-to-wear items and unique accessories to the floor.

Personal care products are also a major feature. The National Beard League, Callie’s Custom Hat Wigs, and Essance Skincare will sell their lines. Shoppers can find grooming tools, custom headwear, and skincare essentials from these specific brands.

Art and home goods round out the selection. Local artists Sheila Wong, Little Roots PDX, and Flor y Fiesta will display their work. These creators offer one-of-a-kind pieces for buyers looking for distinctive holiday gifts.

The market fits into a wider wave of holiday events across the city. This specific pop-up joins a list of other gatherings, including a German-inspired market at the Oregon Garden Resort. That venue offers timed tickets starting at $15 for ages 6 and up, with separate fees for skating and tubing.

Another option is the event at Pomeroy Farm in Yacolt, Washington. Tickets cost $6 for adults and $4 for children aged 3 to 11. The farm is collecting shelf-stable donations for the North County Community Food Bank during the market hours.

In the Central Eastside Industrial District, a holiday market modeled after events in Vancouver and Asia is underway. It features more than 100 local vendors and food stalls. A $10 timed fast pass allows visitors to skip the entry line.

The PDX Guild of Geeks is hosting what it calls the original Portland nerdy craft fair. Admission is free for this event. The guild’s website lists interests in Xena, Buffy, Star Trek, and Battlestar Galactica, setting the tone for the goods on sale.
